• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist in accordance with state and federal regulations, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Responsible for supporting pharmacy operations under supervision.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists in locating products.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Supports inventory management and merchandising.
• Assists with pharmacy duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and supporting workflow.
• Ensures compliance with legal and company policies, including handling pharmacy errors and maintaining confidentiality.
• Supports store and pharmacy inventory, maintains store cleanliness, and provides photo and web order services.
• Supports store maintenance and adheres to all policies and respectful relationships with coworkers.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
• Fluent in English; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
