Responsibilities

1. Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
2. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
3. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, with pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
4. Engages customers and patients, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
5. Provides fast, courteous service, recommends products, and processes transactions accurately.
6. Maintains store cleanliness, inventory, and visual displays.
7. Supports pharmacy operations, including inventory management and ensuring compliance with regulations.
8. Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up responsibilities.
9. Contributes to a respectful team environment and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification and/or state certification/registration.
• Attends training, completes continuing education, and stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
• Fluent in English; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred experience in retail, pharmacy, or inventory control, and PTCB certification.
