Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team members to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the point of sale and to assist pharmacists under supervision. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, and processing prescriptions with accuracy.

You will support store operations, inventory, and promotions while upholding Walgreens policies. Preferred candidates have retail experience, English fluency, good math and computer skills, and may possess PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers at Walgreens registers.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and patient information entry.
• Support pharmacy operations: inventory management, stocking, and maintaining store displays.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and basic clerical duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
