Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a distinctive customer experience while handling checkout and assisting the pharmacist under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and help maintain store standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, restocking, and supporting pharmacy operations such as inventory management and third‑party claims processing, with training and potential PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Operates the cash register, processes transactions, returns, exchanges, and cash handling.
• Assists pharmacists under supervision with dispensing and pharmacy workflow.
• Maintains counters and shelves, restocks products and keeps the store clean and merchandised.
• Provides support with inventory management and third‑party prescription processing.
