Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. seeks a Compounding Technician I to work in a clean room under a licensed Pharmacist, helping ensure safe, accurate compounding operations and efficient medication preparation.

You will handle labeling, dispensing, calculations, and maintain equipment and logs, with a path to training and growth within a large national home infusion company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and state regulations.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Maintains pharmacy surfaces, laminar flow hoods, logs and equipment documentation.
