Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our Tampa, FL compounding team under a licensed pharmacist. The role focuses on safe, accurate compounding in a clean room, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

You will perform basic calculations, label and package medications, and help manage medication-related incidents, with opportunities for growth within the nation's largest home infusion provider.

Qualifications

• Customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Word.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state regs.
• Prepares medications for accurate compounding.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in assessing, managing, and reporting medication incidents.
