Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists in compounding medications and processing prescriptions in a clean-room environment. The role focuses on accurate preparation, labeling, and safe handling of medications under supervision.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience, with state licensing/registration as applicable. Strong math, organization, and MS Office skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepare medications accurately for compounding.
• Label and package medications correctly.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
• Ensure pharmacy surfaces and equipment are clean and sanitized.
