Job summary

Medisca is expanding its Compounding Support team and seeks a self-motivated pharmacist or technician to provide expert guidance on compounding formulations, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will interact with pharmacists to support compounding practices and client inquiries, including niche areas like peptides and hormone restoration therapy.

Qualifications

• Educational background: BS Pharmacy, PharmD or Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in pharmaceutical compounding industry (3–5 years for Pharmacist; 10+ years for Pharmacy Technician).
• Knowledge of USP, 503A/503B and cGMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review non-sterile and sterile formulations as per client requests.
• Evaluate client requests for safety, efficacy, dosage, and administration route.
• Verify formulas against primary literature and perform chemical compatibility checks.
• Respond to client inquiries via email or phone with technical support.
• Consult on niche areas: peptides, hormone restoration, veterinary compounding, pain management, dermatology.
• Support regulatory inquiries and facility workflow, assist in SOPs development.
