Job summary

Medisca is seeking a Compounding Specialist to support clients with technical inquiries and formulation guidance. The role involves reviewing formulas, ensuring safety and efficacy, and providing expert advice to pharmacists expanding compounding services.

Ideal candidates are pharmacists or licensed technicians with strong communication skills and proficiency in standard office software. Travel to tradeshows is possible, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (oral & written) is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical compounding preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review non-sterile and sterile formulations per client requests.
• Evaluate client requests for safety, efficacy, route, concentration, dosage and diagnosis relevance.
• Verify formulas against primary literature and check API/excipient compatibility and stability.
• Perform calculations, document steps, and ensure compliance with legal parameters.
