Job summary

Medisca in the United States seeks a Compounding Specialist to support internal and external clients with compounding inquiries, formula reviews, and regulatory guidance. You will advise on niche areas such as peptides, hormone restoration, veterinary compounding, and dermatology, ensuring safety, efficacy and compliance.

The role involves reviewing formulations, communicating technical solutions, and contributing to SOPs and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Review non-sterile and sterile formulations as per client requests
• Evaluate client requests for safety, efficacy and appropriateness
• Verify formulas with literature, compatibility and stability of APIs/excipients
• Perform mathematical calculations and check preparatory steps and labeling
• Respond to client inquiries via email or phone and provide technical troubleshooting
• Provide guidance on niche compounding areas and regulatory standards
• Assist in development of SOPs and quality systems
• Travel up to two weeks per year for trade shows, programs and training
