Job summary

ShopRite of West Long Branch in New Jersey seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver a great customer experience while assisting in the Pharmacy Department with cash register operation, customer service, stocking and cleaning for efficient operation.

The position requires 18+ years old, ability to read/write English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers $15.92 per hour and eligibility for benefits under the bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately ring the sale of prescriptions.
• Accurately and quickly collect proper payment and provide proper change.
• Maintain appropriate security of Pharmacy Department.
• Exhibit professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health information.
