Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment, and providing the right products and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Offer direct patient interventions through health and wellness services, adhering to state and federal laws. Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain required certifications or licenses
• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities excluding professional judgment
• Ensure excellent customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing
• Support training of clerks and technicians
• Compound medications per regulations
• Perform post-fill audits
• Support non-dispensing health services using various platforms
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and policies
• Provide other health and wellness services allowed by law
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Comply with legal reporting requirements for illegal activities
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Current registration, certification, or licensure as required by law

Desired

• Previous experience in pharmacy or similar roles
• Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician
