Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support pharmacists and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will perform reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing steps while ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

You will also handle cashier duties, manage inventory, assist with ordering of medications and supplies, and maintain clean work areas in accordance with safety policies and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing steps.

• Maintain clean, organized workstations and customer waiting areas.
• Oversee computerized inventory management, ordering of medications and supplies.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies throughout all tasks.
