Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Understand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and cashier handling policies to prevent loss.
• Handle electronic fund transactions (Credit/Debit Cards, EBT, Gift Cards) and cash and checks.
• Adhere to guidelines on vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrinkage controls.
• Answer phones, triage calls, and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company.
• Count, measure, and prepare specified product using company standards.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and customer waiting areas.
• Follow guidelines on computerized inventory management, ordering of medications and supplies.
• Perform ordering with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Adhere to all food safety and health regulations and report unsafe conditions.
