Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a pharmacy clerk to provide world-class customer service and support pharmacists with health and wellness services in a store environment. The role emphasizes accuracy in reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing while handling payments and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

You will follow HIPAA regulations, cash handling policies, and store guidelines, contributing to a compliant, efficient, and customer-focused pharmacy team in Clayton, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma required.
• Confidential information handling and state regulations compliance.
• Ability to assist pharmacist and perform duties other than those requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Experience in reception, data entry, billing and product dispensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Provide a stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Handle cash, card and gift card transactions with accuracy and security.
• Answer phone, triage inquiries and manage billing procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and waiting areas; stock and inventory duties as directed.
