Job summary

Healthfirst seeks a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to remove barriers and promote proper adherence.

You will coordinate refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and access, working with internal and external partners to integrate MTM into broader healthcare management services. Excellent communication with patients and providers is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pharmacy technician certification or licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to improve adherence and prevent adverse events.
• Assist members with refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access for medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and other partners.
• Monitor and communicate with community pharmacies about adherence.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications, telephonically or in person.
• Additional duties as necessary.
