Job summary

Medix is seeking a Pharmacy Care Coordinator to manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls to support medication adherence, prescription refills, provider follow-ups, and member outreach in a fast-paced call center environment.

You will review prescription claim documentation, resolve escalated inquiries, translate prescriber notes when needed, and support Medicare drug-related issues, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working for a healthcare organization or pharmacy.
• Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages high-volume inbound and outbound calls to support medication adherence, prescription refills, provider follow-ups, and member outreach.
• Navigate multiple systems, deliver accurate information to members, providers, and clinical staff.
• Review prescription claim documentation, handle escalated inquiries, and support Medicare drug-related issues.
• Provide administrative support and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA and compliance policies with strong customer service and organization.
