Job summary

BD Parata is seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support, preventive maintenance, installation assistance, and break/fix service for pharmacy automation solutions in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC region.

You will work with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare professionals to maximize equipment uptime and deliver exceptional customer experiences, with frequent travel and on-site work required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while troubleshooting and maintaining pharmacy automation equipment.
• Diagnose complex electromechanical, software, networking, and system integration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, upgrades, and repairs to maximize uptime.
• Document service activities and actions in Salesforce Field Service.
• Travel within the Northern Virginia / DC region and surrounding areas as needed.
