Job summary

BD is seeking an Account Executive to drive Pharmacy Automation sales across community and small hospital accounts in a defined U.S. territory.

You will build relationships with pharmacy leaders, hospital executives, and financial stakeholders to grow opportunities across MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, and VA. In this role you will develop territory plans, manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close, present compelling business cases, and collaborate with BD cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven sales experience in healthcare or related field.
• Ability to engage hospital leaders and finance teams.
• Strong CRM and office software proficiency.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan for community and small hospital accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build relationships with pharmacy directors and hospital executives.
• Understand customer needs and translate value to outcomes.
• Position BD Pharmacy Automation with clear ROI messaging.
• Manage sales process from prospecting to close and handoff.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer needs.
• Negotiate agreements and close opportunities for growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast updates.
• Develop account plans for priority targets and quarterly reviews.
• Track performance, competition, and customer engagement.
• Present compelling business cases tailored to customers.
