Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking an Account Executive for Community and Small Hospital Accounts to drive Pharmacy Automation sales across a defined geographic territory. You will develop new accounts, expand relationships with pharmacy directors and hospital executives, and articulate how BD Pharmacy Automation improves medication management, workflow, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Proven sales experience in healthcare, capital equipment, healthcare technology, pharmacy automation, or related solution-selling environments.
• Experience developing new accounts within a defined territory.
• Strong ability to engage hospital leaders, pharmacy stakeholders, finance leaders, and operational decision-makers.
• CRM software and Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on community and small hospitals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
• Build relationships with pharmacy directors and hospital executives.
• Communicate customer value, workflow impact, and ROI of BD Pharmacy Automation.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to close and handoff.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and develop target account plans.
