Job summary

BD is seeking an Account Executive for Community and Small Hospital Accounts to drive Pharmacy Automation sales across MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, VA. You will develop new relationships, expand existing ones, and demonstrate how BD solutions improve medication management, efficiency, and financial performance.

The role requires building trust with pharmacy leaders, hospital executives, and business stakeholders in community settings, with a focus on territory development and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Sales experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Experience developing new accounts within a defined territory.
• Ability to engage hospital leaders and decision-makers.
• Proficiency with CRM and MS Office.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on community hospitals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Build relationships with pharmacy directors, hospital executives, finance leaders, operational leaders, and other decision-makers.
• Understand customer needs, budget considerations, and timelines in community environments.
• Position BD Pharmacy Automation solutions with clear ROI and impact.
• Create and present business cases tailored to community customers.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to close and handoff.
• Maintain CRM records and update territory plans quarterly.
• Track sales performance and competitive activity within territory.
• Collaborate with BD cross-functional teams to support opportunities.
