Job summary

Blink Health in Pittsburgh is seeking a Pharmacist to supervise technicians and verify prescriptions in a high-volume, closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy in every dispensed order. You will collaborate with prescribers, counsel patients by phone on new prescriptions and refills, maintain patient confidentiality, and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires PA license, PharmD, and willingness to obtain additional licenses; on-site, full-time

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with a degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy License in good standing.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; mail order / specialty experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Strong command of English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians under the pharmacy manager.
• Oversee data entry and ensure accuracy of technician work.
• Protect patient confidentiality and proper destruction of records.
• Assist in processing and transferring prescriptions end-to-end.
• Perform pharmacist verification in a high-volume environment.
• Review prescriptions for safety, interactions, and dosing accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling via phone on new prescriptions and refills.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and clinical issues.
• Operate in compliance with all policies and laws.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy leadership and management teams.
