Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; mail order/closed-door fulfillment pharmacy preferred.
• Active license in additional states is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager and workflow.
• Oversee data entry by staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and proper destruction of records.
• Support staff in fielding calls from major chains and independent pharmacies nationwide.
• Manage prescriptions transfer end-to-end and ensure successful processing.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume environment.
• Clinically verify prescriptions for safety, interactions, and dosing accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and education by phone on new prescriptions and refills.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements; work with leadership teams.
