Select Specialty Hospital Harrisburg is seeking a Pharmacist to join our inpatient team on a per diem basis. The role involves clinical support for the hospital pharmacy, drug distribution, IV admixture, and patient education, with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and a current state license; BLS may be required. This position emphasizes quality improvement and patient-focused care within a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.
• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or hospital residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital Harrisburg

Schedule: Per Diem, 1 weekend per month and available weekday opportunitiesCompensation: $65.00 per hour
