Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions via QA checks.
• Grow script volume through clinical programs including immunization and MTM where available.
• Align department objectives with measurable metrics and manage inventories to meet demand and maximize profits.
• Provide excellent customer service and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff; train and coach associates.
• Assume management responsibility in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Maintain security of the Pharmacy department and comply with laws.
• Interact with physicians to resolve issues and assist with patient information.
• Keep the department organized; support ongoing development and reduce turnover.
• Prioritize tasks like cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.
