Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee the Pharmacy department, ensuring accurate prescriptions and implementing clinical programs to enhance patient care. The role includes supervising technicians, training staff, and supporting inventory management while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy, Immunization Certification, and active licensure.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BS or Pharm.D.) and Immunization Certification.
• Pharmacist licensure and ability to immunize.
• Experience supervising technicians and managing pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions per Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Build clinical programs including immunization and MTM when available.
• Align objectives with department metrics and manage inventory to meet demand and maximize profits.
• Provide healthcare counseling and excellent customer service.
• Supervise technicians, train staff, and assist Pharmacy Manager in leadership duties.
