Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and immunization certification.
• Experience in supervising pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Ability to provide healthcare counseling and high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per regulations.
• Grow patient care and business through immunization programs and MTM when available.
• Align department objectives to 7 key metrics for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management and vendor relations to meet demand and profits.
• Provide excellent customer service and healthcare counseling to customers.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff on duty.
• Train, coach, and develop department personnel; cover for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Maintain department security and comply with all laws and regulations.
• Resolve customer issues and interact with physicians to resolve problems.
• Keep the department clean and organized; assist with ongoing training.
