Job summary

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with active licensure, immunizer certification, and at least one year of pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: average leadership rating and no disciplinary actions in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on proper use of medications, interactions, and generics.
• Perform dispensing, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensure compliant pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
• Provide immunizations and other clinical health services per company policy.
• Develop relationships with local medical community and expand health services.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
