Hy-Vee in the United States is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while contributing to wellness programs and community outreach.

In this fast-paced retail setting, you will manage immunizations, inventory, regulatory compliance, and collaborate with other departments to promote wellness and patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and licensure required with active license.
• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience required.
• Ability to administer immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients per OBRA ’90 and regulations.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and monthly inventory.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking, and invoices.
• Balance third-party accounts and reconcile inventory monthly.
• Coach, counsel, and train pharmacy employees and participate in education.
• Market pharmacy services to schools, doctors, and senior centers.
• Build growth and sales through counseling and wellness programs.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow regulatory procedures.
• Report to the Pharmacy Manager and assist in leadership tasks.
