Job summary

Harris Teeter in Burlington, NC is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide world-class customer service in-store, manage daily pharmacy operations, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

You will administer immunizations, review prescriptions, supervise pharmacy staff, and partner with store leadership to optimize patient care and profitability, while maintaining privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; previous experience preferred.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited organization.

Responsibilities

• Work as a pharmacist in a store covering available shifts.
• Administer immunizations to customers following standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense and verify prescriptions ensuring accuracy.
• Review prescriptions for interactions and determine formulas and ingredients.
• Supervise and train pharmacy associates including directing work and addressing issues.
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
