Job summary

Harris Teeter in Belmont, NC is hiring a Full Time Assistant Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and efficiency in patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. Previous experience preferred.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organization.
• Effective and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of the staff pharmacists, including but not limited to supporting divisional, corporate and special promotions.
• Assist in supervising associates, planning, assigning or directing work, addressing complaints and solving problems.
• Respond to pharmacy needs for relief coverage and travel locations as needed, covering routine and emergency shifts.
• Administer immunizations to customers following policies and procedures.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring accuracy of prescriptions and ingredients.
