Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a full-time pharmacist to manage all aspects of the in-store pharmacy, including immunizations, dispensing, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes patient safety, customer service excellence, and supervising pharmacy staff to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities include handling prescriptions, performing clinical services, and collaborating with store leadership to maximize profitability while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the relevant state(s).
• Immunization-certified and CPR-certified.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of staff pharmacists, incl. promotions support.
• Administer immunizations per standing orders.
• Dispense and verify prescriptions, ensure Drug interactions are reviewed.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff; handle scheduling and conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, HIPAA and standards.
