Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide world-class customer service in-store, manage the pharmacy operation, and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations while protecting patient safety.

You will supervise pharmacy associates, administer immunizations, review prescriptions, dispense medications, and support relief coverage across regional locations as needed, always upholding ethical standards and a courteous, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) where you will practice.
• Immunization certification and CPR certification required.
• Experience with pharmacy operations, compliance, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Work as a pharmacist in a store covering available shifts.
• Administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients.
• Verify technicians and interns for accuracy of prescriptions.
• Dispense or compound medications in compliance with laws and policies.
• Supervise associates, train staff, and address issues as needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Support relief coverage across regional locations as needed.
