Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a pharmacy informaticist to bridge clinical care and informatics in a fully remote role. You will support the medication EHR, serve as the clinical informatics liaison, and develop data-driven solutions to improve safety and workflow efficiency.

You will design and implement EHR builds, analyze data, and collaborate with providers and leadership to translate clinical needs into system requirements. Eligible for remote work in approved states with 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Exceptional candidates will demonstrate strong clinical judgment combined with systems thinking.
• Experience with Epic Willow certification or equivalent experience in pharmacy informatics systems.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions into clear system build requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and communicate risks clearly.
• Ability to work independently while seeking peer review when needed.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR as liaison.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice.
• Designs and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and patient safety.
• Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems and informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assists in creating data analytics for performance reviews.
• Develops automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Coordinates with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
