Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to join our enterprise Pharmacy Applications team. The role supports the medication EHR, interfaces, and infusion pumps, with remote first-shift hours and on-call as scheduled.
Qualified candidates will have a Pharmacy degree, EPIC Willow certification, and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience or PGY1/PGY2 in pharmacy informatics. Remote work across approved states is available with no relocation or sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
- EPIC certification required within 6 months.
- Minimum 3 years as a pharmacist or completion of PGY1/PGY2 residencies in pharmacy informatics.
Responsibilities
- Support the medication EHR and act as liaison between clinicians and informatics.
- Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and workflows to advance evidence-based practice.
- Design, evaluate, and implement new EHR builds to support clinical care and safety.
- Consult with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems.
- Create data analytics to facilitate performance review and improvements.
- Develop automated clinical rules to support patient care.
