Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics professional to serve as the interface between clinicians and IT, leveraging informatics to optimize medication workflows within the EHR. This role requires Epic Willow certification and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Epic Willow certification required or eligible.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions and operational needs into clear system build requirements.
• Ability to facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making.
• Proactive identification and communication of risks.
• Ability to work independently while seeking peer review and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record as a liaison for clinical informatics.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems that advance evidence-based practice and medication safety.
• Designs and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and improve patient care quality and safety.
• Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems and communicates complex informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assists in creating data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvement.
• Develops automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
