Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare LTC pharmacy in Utah is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a full-time, non-customer-facing role at a long-term care facility. This position supports ongoing operations during a transition period as Omnicare becomes independent.

Responsibilities include accurate entry of orders, pharmacy security, adherence to schedules, and reviewing labels and drug packaging. IV products may be prepared under supervision; knowledge of DEA/state laws is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Utah, active and in good standing.
• Preferred long-term care pharmacy experience.
• IV Certification or experience.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check completeness and precision of labels and orders.
• Check content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products if required.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Follow all applicable state and federal regulations including HIPAA.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage on scheduled rotation.
