Lumicera is seeking a Pharmacist, Clinical Consultation to join our team. The role involves telephonic patient consultations about specialty medications, medication reconciliation, and coordinating with prescribers to expedite orders, with a focus on patient-centered care.

You will work independently to meet department production metrics, support quality standards, and resolve patient issues while maintaining ethical and compliant practice.

Formación

• Licensed pharmacist with active state license and close adherence to continuing education requirements.
• Strong clinical background relevant to specialty pharmacy.
• Experience with specialty medications is desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct telephonic patient consultations for specialty medications.
• Document interventions in the pharmacy software per policy and regulatory standards.
• Interpret prescriptions, verify details with prescribers, and expedite orders as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses for medication optimization and conversions to preferred therapies.
• Back up other pharmacists and train junior staff as needed.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and company ethics.
