Job summary
Hims & Hers in Mesa, AZ seeks a Pharmacist SME to lead and support the pharmacy team in optimizing automated dispensing in a mail-order setting. You will forecast prescriptions, configure automation, and coordinate software updates with leadership to maximize patient safety and throughput.
The role requires a PharmD-eligible or licensed pharmacist with 3+ years of practice and at least 1 year using automation.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist license active in the home state (or eligible).
- 3+ years as practicing pharmacist.
- 1+ years experience using pharmacy automation.
- Solid knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee dispensing automation workflow within the facility.
- Serve as primary contact for automation vendor Escalations.
- Train pharmacists/technicians on automation to drive efficiency.
- Coordinate new processes with pharmacy leadership.
- Monitor maintenance issues with facilities team and escalate as needed.
- Analyze forecast data to maximize automation efficiency.
- Analyze machine performance data to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy and Operations to align needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and HIPAA.
