Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Lead Pharmacist, Pharmacy Automation in Mesa, AZ to lead the pharmacy team and optimize automated dispensing systems in a mail-order setting. You will forecast prescriptions, adjust automation configurations, and coordinate software updates with pharmacy leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as practicing pharmacist.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written.
• Willingness to work flexible shift times.
• PharmD - licensed pharmacist or eligible in home state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy dispensing automation within the facility.
• Primary contact for operational support tickets with automation vendor.
• Train pharmacists and technicians on automation to drive efficiency.
• Coordinate new process development and implementation plans for new processes.
• Monitor and address mechanical/electrical maintenance issues with facilities team.
• Analyze forecast data to maximize automation efficiency via inventory placement.
• Analyze machine performance data to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
• Develop and review standard operating procedures.
• Ensure alignment with Pharmacy and Ops leadership on workflow needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and PHI protection.
• Update patient profile records as required by state regulations.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment per FDA rules.
• Deliver a world-class pharmacy experience to patients.
• Perform drug utilization reviews, label checks, and patient counseling.
