Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team. The role involves precise selection, dosing, and administration of medication orders, review of medication profiles, compounding and dispensing responsibilities, and delivering patient counseling to promote adherence and understanding of therapy.

Minimum requirements include pharmacist credentialing from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy and a degree in Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
• Inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the precise selection, dosing, and administration of medication orders.
• Review medication profiles to identify, prevent, and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.
• Oversee and execute compounding and dispensing of medications.
• Deliver patient counseling to ensure medication adherence and clear understanding of therapeutic goals.
