Job summary

Ascension is seeking a pharmacist for a remote role within the Ascension Pharmacy Services team. The position oversees dispensing, provides patient counseling, and collaborates with physicians to optimize care from MD locations and beyond.

Minimum requirements include active pharmacist licensure in the supporting state and a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy; a Master’s or PharmD is preferred. No prior work experience required for this role, with opportunities for teaching and precepting

  • Oversees technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
  • Assists with academic functions such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students. May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs. Provides patient counseling when required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

  • Required Credential(s):
    • Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required. Master's degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred.
