Job summary

Medisca Inc. in Oregon is seeking a Compounding Specialist (Compounding Services) to support pharmacists and technicians with formulation reviews, regulatory guidance, and practical compounding solutions.

The role emphasizes technical expertise, strong communication, and adherence to USP, 503A/503B, and cGMP standards within a fast-paced client-facing environment. Travel for trade shows or trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• Educational background aligned with pharmacy practice.
• 3–5 years pharmacist experience in compounding; 10 years for technicians.
• Experience with 503A/503B and cGMP.
• Knowledge of USP, NAPRA, FDA, Health Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review sterile and non-sterile formulations per client requests.
• Respond to client inquiries with technical expertise and calculations.
• Maintain quality systems and SOPs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training and ongoing development of staff.
