Strive Pharmacy is a growing compounding pharmacy in Tampa, FL, seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to provide day-to-day QA oversight, ensure GMP/GDP and USP compliance, and lead site QA activities. The role reports to the QA Manager and coordinates with floor operations, compounding personnel, and Quality leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years in QA/quality control/manufacturing in pharma/compounding.
• Experience in aseptic operations and cleanroom environments with core QA practices (documentation review, batch release, line clearances, deviation handling).
• Proficiency with MS Office and QMS; strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk, lift up to 45 pounds, work in a controlled cleanroom and wear PPE.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily QA activities and staff, schedule workloads, approve timecards, and participate in onboarding and training.
• Conduct routine audits of compounding, production, cleaning, environmental monitoring, and validation records for cGMP/GDP and USP standards.
• Oversee labeling verification, line clearances, and supplier qualification documentation; verify incoming raw materials.
• Support QA systems by triaging customer complaints, collecting data for adverse event reporting, and coordinating CAPA tasks.
• Assist in audits and track weekly quality metrics and trends for management review.
• Act as first-line authority for staging and release of products based on verified testing; escalate risks to QA Manager or PIC.
