Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Durham, NC site to improve systems and equipment reliability. You will support the operation of processes, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure documentation in SAP.

This role requires mechanical, electrical understanding and the ability to work rotating shifts. The position emphasizes adherence to safety and SOPs, collaboration with process owners, and contributing to a proactive maintenance culture at our Durham

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in mechanical/electrical/control systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience reading schematics, drawings, and P&IDs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
• Follow SOPs in performance of duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, plans and parts lists.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned processes.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and data sheets.
• Work rotating shifts, nights, extended shifts and weekends.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability.
