Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve the reliability of process equipment and support daily manufacturing operations at the PS AM facility. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the production team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications include an industrial maintenance background, SAP experience, and the ability to read diagrams and schematics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field required.
• High School diploma (or GED) with minimum 2 years equipment maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable in compressed air, electro-mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or robotics preferred.
• Experience with SAP and reading schematics / wiring diagrams preferred.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with automated records systems.

Responsibilities

• Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
• Restore function to equipment in a technically correct manner.
• Participate in event response.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned process.
• Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes.
• Support and implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects.
• Assist in all aspects of process operations.
• Record and review production data in Batch Production Records (BPRs).
• Follow safety and environmental requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
