Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Technical Support professional to improve system and equipment reliability in the Clayton, NC facility. You will reduce downtime, support operations, and lead event responses to maintain continuous production of injectable and oral treatments.

The role requires planning and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, with a focus on safety, reliability, and compliance. Join a global leader committed to health and innovation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent training (mechanical, electrical & control systems).
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledgeable in compressed air, electro-mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation & robotics (preferred).
• Experience with automated records systems such as SAP and technical documentation like schematics & wiring diagrams (preferred).
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and environmentally responsible way.
• Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
• Restore function to equipment in a technically correct manner.
• Actively lead Event Response.
• Plan and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned process.
• Monitor performance and trends and provide action plans.
• Support and implement reliability improvement projects.
• Assist in training and coaching of process operations.
• Record and review maintenance data in SAP Work Orders and related forms.
• Review and coach the use of SAP for Work Order oversight and completion.
