Job summary

KVK Tech, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor in Philadelphia to oversee daily packaging operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will lead packaging personnel, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Shipping to maintain smooth production flow. The role emphasizes coaching and developing staff, adherence to cGMP, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production or packaging personnel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP, data integrity principles, and packaging documentation practices.
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems such as SYSPRO, SAP, JDE or similar platforms.
• Proven experience training, coaching, and coordinating the work of operations staff in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily packaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production activities.
• Plan, assign, and adjust shift activities to support production schedules and staffing needs.
• Monitor packaging processes and floor activity for SOPs, line clearance, and housekeeping.
• Review batch records, logbooks, cleaning records, and production forms for accuracy.
• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Shipping to resolve issues affecting materials and schedule.
• Train, coach, and develop packaging line leaders, operators, and mechanics.
• Track productivity and downtime, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Ensure data and transactions are accurately entered into ERP systems (e.g., SYSPRO).
