Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years in pharma or regulated manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years of leadership in packaging/production.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, data integrity, and packaging documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SYSPRO, SAP, JDE or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily packaging line operations to ensure cGMP compliance.
  • Plan, assign, and adjust staffing to meet production targets.
  • Monitor packaging processes and ensure SOP adherence.
  • Review and approve batch records and cleaning logs.
  • Train and develop Packaging Line Leaders, Operators, and Mechanics.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems.
  • Support investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement.

KVK Tech is seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team in Newtown, PA.

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee daily packaging operations within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for leading packaging personnel, maintaining production schedules, ensuring documentation accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a thorough understanding of packaging operations, and the ability to drive performance in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven setting.

This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Supervise and direct daily packaging line operations to ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, DEA, OSHA, and company procedures.
  • Plan, assign, and adjust work schedules and staffing to meet production targets and operational priorities.
  • Monitor packaging processes and floor activity to ensure adherence to SOPs, line clearance requirements, and housekeeping standards.
  • Review and approve packaging documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and cleaning records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Train, coach, and develop Packaging Line Leaders, Operators, Material Handlers, and Mechanics to strengthen team capability and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant data entry and reporting within ERP systems (e.g., SYSPRO) and related documentation systems.
  • Support investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
We Are Looking For Applicants With
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in packaging or production operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP requirements, data integrity principles, and packaging documentation practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SYSPRO, SAP, JDE, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to drive accountability and performance.
  • Working knowledge of packaging equipment and production processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
