Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks a Maintenance Planner in South San Francisco to plan and schedule resources for preventative and corrective maintenance, coordinating with manufacturing operations to maximize efficiency.

The role focuses on developing detailed work scopes, forecasting resource allocation, ensuring FDA/DEA/OSHA compliance, and maintaining the master PM schedule. Strong CMMS experience and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance planning experience in manufacturing/regulated environments.
• Thorough working knowledge of cGMPs in Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device/Healthcare.
• Strong OSHA safety knowledge and practices.
• Proficient with CMMS systems, preferably Maximo.
• Experience with work management processes, labor estimation and resource balancing.
• Familiarity with purchase order systems and requisition procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule available resources and materials for maintenance activities to maximize efficiency.
• Develop detail work scopes and forecasts for resource allocation with manufacturing operations.
• Oversee work order activity for regulatory compliance (FDA, DEA, OSHA).
• Improve productivity by coordinating labor, parts, tools, and equipment and obtaining required permits/documents.
• Compile and maintain the master PM schedule to meet production forecasts and machine needs.
• Coordinate effectively between maintenance groups and facility supervisors/managers.
